Bottom Line All I See is Love

So there is this huge controversy within the Presbyterian Church USA which I’m a member of and also work for.  It has recently been decided to allow gays and lesbians in the pulpit.  I know they say it goes against God’s word but my question is how can we disallow anybody from serving God?  PC(USA) is supposed to be an all-inclusive church which means we’re not supposed to turn our back on anybody.  We are supposed to accept everyone.  To me that goes against what we believe as the PC(USA).  I feel it’s not anybody’s place but God to judge them.  If God says it wrong then they have to answer to God on their day of judgment. I really don’t even have an opinion about gays and lesbians; it doesn’t affect me one way or the other. Everybody is free to live their life the they want. I can say that if ever a gay or lesbian person comes to my church to serve, I wouldn’t leave.  If their love for God called them to minister what makes them less qualified if they’re homosexual.  We have heterosexual people in our pulpits that go against the word of God everyday, sin like it’s about to go out of style. People not will ling to accept gays and lesbians seems like nonsense to me but people are really pissed about it.  What they do in the privacy of their home is their business.  It’s not like they’d make out in front of the whole congregation. Straight pastors don’t even do stuff like that. I think out of respect and because it’s so much controversy, they’ll know not to do things that might make people uncomfortable.  With people it’s just knowing that if someone is gay or a lesbian that grosses them out. They look at them and they mind immediately goes to the gutter.  They don’t think about that fact that these are two people who love each other and make each other happy. Maybe that’s way it doesn’t bother me because love is love.  No matter whom it involves.  You can’t tell me who I can and can’t love. I can’t even tell me, the heart takes over and you have no control when it comes to love.  The churches that don’t agree with the PC(USA) decision have the option to leave which is fair.  It’s sad because for years our members have been declining but I say to those churches kick rocks.  I have no tolerance for those who judge others.
