Had to post
It's so easy to judge people for who they aren't, but hard to give them credit for who they are. Within the last 3 months, I've seen depression in many different forms. I've dealt with depressed children & adolescents at work, I've heard testimonies concerning depression at church, and I've even seen people who seemingly have everything they need....and still battle depression.
What I've learned is that depression doesn't have a face.
Depression doesn't always dress in raggedy clothing. Depression doesn't always have an overdrawn bank account. Depression doesn't even always have tears in his/her eyes. Depression often wears a smile to hide the fact that he/she is hurting. For this reason, signs of depression tend to go undetected in the people we know and love because we've become too familiar with how we've always known a person to be, never considering that they aren't always at their best.
Life certainly has its share of ups and downs, and even in depression you should still have someone to help pull you out of that low place. The strongest people need an even stronger support system.
I said all that to say this: DON'T GIVE UP.
You weren't born INTO greatness - greatness is your DNA. You were born great.
Maybe you weren't afforded a lot of things - but keep pushing! Your open door to multiple streams of income may only be a few doors down.
Life throws some hard rocks at you, and they might hurt, but keep striving until you see the manifestation of your goals and vision.
Every day, find a reason to keep pushing and keep it on your mind!
I LOVE YOU.
